Ms. Tina Donovan

My name is Tina Donovan. I enrolled my son Derrick, who was 3 at the time, in Miss Lety’s class at Dynamite Montessori. I volunteered a lot of my time helping in the classroom when one day Paula approached me for employment. My son is now 9 and did extremely well. He has since moved onto 2nd grade at another school but I chose to stay on and have now been employed as Ms. Lety’s morning aide for 5 years come October. I am married 12 years, a mother of 2 boys, and have a BS in my education. Most of the time, you will probably find me outside with the children doing outside environment works, taking the children on nature walks, or teaching soccer out on the field. Both of my boys play competitive soccer and I have learned a thing or two through the years. I feel Ms. Lety and I are a great team and work well together and in turn the children benefit from that. I love the children and have even been known to cry at kindergarten graduations. Being an assistant means not just showing up for a job but going above and beyond with the children because I am helping shape a child’s future. Some of these children come to Montessori for their first school experience and between Ms. Lety and I; we make it a positive one. I feel honored to have been entrusted with your children at Dynamite Montessori and will continue to give a 100% every day!
